Suomen Biathlon Oy development and investment project – Co-funded by the European Union

The European Union has granted co-funding to Suomen Biathlon Oy, also known as Biathlon Target System Kurvinen, for the development of a new product and factory processes.

This support has enabled the creation of environmentally friendly and groundbreaking technology behind the Kurvinen ESB-2 electronic biathlon system. This target system enables almost 100% lead collection in biathlon venues, and provides extensive information about precise shot location for both coaches and live TV audiences, enabling more efficient training and even more exciting racing for millions of biathlon fans around the world.

Mecmill plays a key role in the Kurvinen target story by manufacturing the metal parts and top-quality components used to assemble the final products for the world’s most important biathlon stadiums.
